Job Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL license
- Minimum of 12 months recent experience operating commercial trucks
- Ability to work as an independent contractor under a 1099 arrangement
- Willingness to own and maintain a leased truck
- Must comply with DOT safety regulations
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screenings
- Possess a valid driving record suitable for commercial driving
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license
- Minimum of 12 months recent driving experience
- Proven ability to operate large commercial trucks safely
- Familiarity with lease purchase truck programs
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and truck maintenance
- Ability to manage independent contracting responsibilities
- Good communication skills and professionalism
Job Duties
- Drive and operate a 2022 or newer Automatic Freightliner Cascadia truck
- Manage route planning and timely delivery of customer freight
- Maintain compliance with all DOT regulations and safety standards
- Participate in the safety incentive program and adhere to company safety policies
- Utilize cruise control and fuel-efficient driving techniques to optimize fuel consumption
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customer service teams to resolve issues
- Perform basic truck inspections and coordinate maintenance through the guaranteed maintenance program
