Job Requirements
- Minimum 22 years of age
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsement required
- Ability to pass urine and hair follicle drug tests
- Acceptable motor vehicle record
- 6 months verifiable Class A tanker experience within the past 2 years or 1 year verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years
- Military service driving experience considered with DD214 and accompanying documentation
- No SAP program members or graduates
- Must meet all general qualifications under 49 CFR sect 391.11 including age and English language proficiency
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
- Minimum 6 months verifiable Class A tanker experience within past 2 years or 1 year verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience within past 3 years
- Ability to pass urine and hair follicle drug tests
- Acceptable motor vehicle record
- English proficiency to converse, understand traffic signs, respond to inquiries, and complete reports
- Military driving experience accepted with proper documentation
Job Duties
- Operate Class A tanker and hazardous material trucks safely and efficiently
- Maintain compliance with all Department of Transportation regulations
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues
- Ensure timely and secure transportation of petroleum products
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation according to company and federal guidelines
- Participate in safety programs and incentive initiatives
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and terminal personnel
