The company values each contractor as a business partner and offers a competitive compensation package designed to reward dedication and outstanding performance.

Joining United Petroleum Transports as a CDL-A Independent Contractor means becoming part of a professional team devoted to moving critical supplies safely and efficiently across the country. Drivers are essential to the logistics chain, and the company emphasizes safety as its foremost priority—ensuring that every driver returns home safely each day. The successful candidates will enjoy a flexible schedule and steady work, along with a corporate culture that respects work-life balance and fosters a supportive and professional environment where all employees are treated with dignity and appreciation.

This role is ideal for experienced drivers who hold a Class A CDL and have specific expertise in handling hazardous materials and tanker vehicles. United Petroleum Transports offers a substantial earning potential, with the average yearly gross income reaching up to $170,000. Independent Contractors benefit from numerous perks such as referral bonuses, reimbursement for Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, fuel surcharges, and various incentive programs that reward safe driving practices. Moreover, the company aids contractors with administrative tasks such as fuel tax filings, recertification physicals, and Hazmat renewals, making it easier for contractors to focus on their core duties.

The company’s independent contractor model encourages drivers to operate their own business under the UPT umbrella, offering both autonomy and support. Drivers have access to a tag program, uniform program, and insurance options including physical damage and bobtail coverage. United Petroleum Transports also provides American Truck Business Services, giving its contractors additional resources to succeed in this competitive field.

Successful applicants must meet federal regulations under 49 CFR sect 391.11, ensuring compliance with age, language proficiency, and physical standards required by the Department of Transportation. The company values diverse backgrounds and experience, including military service driving credentials that are recognized upon submission of relevant documentation.

At United Petroleum Transports, a career is more than just a job—it is a chance to join a community where safety, respect, and professional growth are the cornerstones of everyday work life.
