Job Requirements
- Valid Class-A CDL license
- Minimum 2 years driving experience
- At least 6 months flatbed hauling experience
- Clean motor vehicle record for the past 3 years
- Experience hauling coils, pipes, steel sheets, aluminum, lumber, or construction materials
- Ability to operate self-tarping Conestoga flatbed trailers
- Must be able to work on 1099 independent contractor terms
- No major moving violations
- Willingness to participate in paid orientation and training
Job Qualifications
- Class-A CDL with at least 2 years of experience
- Minimum 6 months flatbed hauling experience
- Clean motor vehicle record with no major moving violations in the past 3 years
- Experience hauling coils, pipes, steel sheets, aluminum, lumber, or construction materials
- Proven knowledge of load securement and safety standards
- Ability to work as an independent contractor under a 1099 agreement
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with a veteran-led dispatch team
Job Duties
- Haul flatbed loads such as coils, pipes, steel sheets, aluminum, lumber, and construction materials
- Maintain strong knowledge of load securement techniques
- Operate and care for 2022/24 Freightliner Cascadia trucks and 2020/24 Flatbeds with self-tarping Conestoga systems
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies including a clean driving record
- Participate in advanced orientation and ongoing training for safe cargo securement
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and support team to ensure timely deliveries
- Manage schedules to optimize home time and comply with route assignments
