Sysco is currently hiring CDL-A Drivers in Lincoln, NE, offering an excellent opportunity for qualified individuals to join a dynamic and growing team. As a CDL-A Delivery Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating tractor-trailers while delivering various products to assigned customer locations. This role requires dedication, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Driver responsibilities include unloading and delivering products such as meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, and supplies, often involving physical activities like lifting and moving heavy items, with weights frequently between 40-60 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Drivers play a crucial role in building lasting relationships with customers, learning their business needs, and ensuring satisfaction through professional and friendly interactions.

This position offers a competitive compensation package with starting pay at $29 per hour, plus overtime and performance-based incentives, with the potential to earn up to $100,000 annually. Additional financial benefits include per diem pay of $40 for overnight stays, typically 1-2 nights per week, paid vacation and holidays, and opportunities for career advancement within the company as Sysco promotes from within. Preferred qualifications include at least one year of customer delivery experience, six months of experience using hand carts or hand trucks, some background in food and beverage delivery, and a consistent work history of two years.
