Job Requirements
- 21 plus years of age
- Submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Ability to lift, push, or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and up to 100 pounds repeatedly
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
- Must be able to travel across state lines
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Experience operating tractor-trailers and handling deliveries
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to lift and move freight weighing 40-60 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays
- Familiarity with interstate travel and delivery requirements
Job Duties
- Operate tractor-trailer safely and efficiently to deliver products to customer locations on assigned routes
- Manually unload and deliver various food and supply products including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers by providing excellent service and understanding their needs
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures while performing daily driving and delivery tasks
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues
- Manage delivery schedules and routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
