Job Description

FleetGenius, LLC is a leading provider of nationwide, end-to-end sustainable container management services. Specializing in the delivery, retrieval, repairs, warranty administration, and recycling of both plastic and steel container inventories, FleetGenius elevates the standard of waste management solutions through innovative practices and dedicated customer support. The company further supports clients by offering bulky waste pickup and apartment valet services, catering to a wide range of waste management needs across various industries. Firmly committed to operational excellence, FleetGenius operates using a fully paperless system that electronically captures all service activity, ensuring accuracy, seamless operational efficiency, and complete traceability throughout the service process. This modern approach reinforces their position as a trusted, responsible partner dedicated to sustainable and efficient container management nationwide.

This full-time CDL Class A Driver position is an integral part of FleetGenius’ operational team. The role involves delivering and retrieving empty waste or recycling containers of varying sizes including 2, 4, 6, and 8 cubic yards. Operators will use specialized equipment such as boom trucks or stinger trucks with flatbed trailers to load, unload, and secure containers safely on their routes. The driver is responsible for accurate tracking of loads, either via paper forms or electronic smart devices provided by the company, and must maintain logs diligently. Vehicle upkeep and cleanliness are also essential to uphold the company’s standards. Additional duties include driving a 16-foot box truck to deliver, swap, and remove residential trash and recycling carts on daily routes, alongside supporting cart yard maintenance, including washing and refurbishing carts.

FleetGenius requires drivers to be flexible with travel assignments as a 'swing driver,' supporting various work sites in the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Northeast regions of the U.S. Travel durations may extend up to two weeks, with the company covering all travel expenses and providing a per diem for meals. The standard work schedule typically runs Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., averaging 40 to 50 hours per week. The pay rate for this role is competitive at $25.00 per hour with weekly pay, reflective of the specialized skill set and travel flexibility needed. FleetGenius is headquartered in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, which serves as the main work location for non-travel assignments. This opportunity is ideal for experienced CDL Class A drivers seeking a consistent full-time schedule with strong benefits in a company focused on sustainability and efficiency.
