The role of CDL A Driver at FleetGenius is a full-time position that offers a competitive weekly pay rate of $28.00 per hour. This role is vital for supporting the logistics and delivery backbone of the company, tasked with the responsible handling and transportation of waste and recycling containers. Drivers in this role will be expected to deliver and retrieve various sizes of waste containers—specifically 2 cubic yards, 4 cubic yards, 6 cubic yards, and 8 cubic yards—using specialized equipment including boom trucks, stinger trucks, or trucks with flat-bed trailers. Drivers will be responsible for loading, unloading, and securing all containers with straps to ensure safe transport.

The position requires maintaining accurate records by tracking loads using paper or electronic forms on smart devices, which are provided by the company. This attention to detail supports FleetGenius's commitment to high standards of operational accuracy. The majority of the driving is local, with approximately 90% of routes staying within the local area, although some overnight stays may be required when delivering materials to other sites. Keeping the company vehicles clean and well-maintained is also an important responsibility for drivers, contributing to a professional company image and ensuring vehicle readiness.

FleetGenius values safety and compliance, requiring drivers to hold a valid CDL Class A license and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with a minimum of three years’ driving experience. A strong familiarity with smart devices is necessary to efficiently navigate and maintain logs digitally. Experience with trailer hauling or boom truck operation is also mandatory, and candidates must be at least 21 years of age. The normal working hours for this role range from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, typically accounting for 40 to 50 hours of work per week.
