The role available is for a Delivery Driver who will be an integral part of the transportation and logistics team within FreshPoint Nashville. This position is designated as non-travel with zero percent required travel and is situated in the 37210 zip code area. The starting base pay rate for this role is $20.35 per hour. The selected candidate will run daily routes with frequent stops, effectively delivering multiple fresh produce products to client locations in a timely and professional manner. The driver will work within a cross-dock operational model, which involves picking up loaded trucks from nightly deliveries at the assigned loading dock and returning empty trucks to the designated lot after completion of the routes.

Responsibilities also include loading and unloading products using hand trucks, safely handling packages that may weigh between 1 to 100 pounds, and efficiently placing goods in designated customer storage areas. The role demands physical endurance as it involves lifting, pushing, and moving heavy products, as well as working in various weather conditions. The driver is expected to maintain excellent customer service by verifying deliveries with customers, obtaining signatures, addressing discrepancies, and managing customer complaints professionally. Compliance with Department of Transportation regulations and adherence to company safety protocols, including pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, are mandatory to ensure safe and reliable operations.

This position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalency and at least one year of route delivery experience or a similar background driving straight trucks. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and have proficient English language skills for communication and understanding traffic signs and regulations. Skills such as strong customer relations, problem resolution, effective planning, and organizational capabilities are essential. Job Requirements

Job Duties
