Job Requirements
- at least six months driving experience with tractor trailers
- valid CDL-A license
- age 21 or older
- clean Motor Vehicle Report for past three years
- pass drug test and background check
- pass road test
- hold or able to obtain DOT health card
- able to lift heavy items and use related equipment
- willing to run team routes
- able to handle at least two overnights per week
- available for three dispatches per week
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED or equivalent
- six or more months commercial driving experience with tractor trailers
- valid CDL-A license and must be 21 or older
- meet all state licensing or certification requirements where applicable
- clean Motor Vehicle Report for past three years
- pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
- pass road test
- hold or able to secure valid current DOT health card
- able to hand-lift and use equipment such as two-wheeler, lift gate to move product cases and freight
Job Duties
- perform all required safety checks including pre and post trip inspections of tractor, truck and trailer according to Department of Transportation regulations
- report all safety issues and repairs required
- follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines
- inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight
- perform count check of items and check customer invoices of products loaded
- complete all required paperwork accurately and legibly
- drive and deliver customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule
