Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent
  • one year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred
  • completion of tractor trailer driving school accepted
  • valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
  • must be insurable to operate a vehicle
  • ability to safely lift and move products up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 250 pounds with hand cart
  • ability to work overnight schedule including weekends, holidays, and overtime
  • ability to comply with DOT and food safety regulations
  • physical ability to climb, bend, twist, and maintain alertness
  • ability to read and converse in English
  • ability to perform job duties independently and effectively

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent
  • one year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred
  • completion of tractor trailer driving school accepted
  • valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
  • knowledge of DOT regulations, Hazmat guidelines, and safe lifting and delivery practices
  • skill in long-distance driving, customer communication, and problem solving
  • ability to operate 3 axle tractor, 45-48 foot trailer, straight truck, on board computer, keypad, and hand cart
  • basic math skills
  • ability to read and speak English proficiently

Job Duties

  • Unload product from trailer by hand or hand cart according to customer specifications and company standards
  • complete all paperwork including DOT logs, inspections, invoices and maintenance reports accurately and timely
  • ensure food safety protocols are met including temperature control and sanitary conditions
  • develop and maintain positive customer relationships through excellent service and communication
  • operate tractor trailer safely over varying terrains and weather conditions
  • maintain and inspect vehicle condition and report damages, shortages or hazards promptly
  • perform other duties as assigned by management
