Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- one year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred
- completion of tractor trailer driving school accepted
- valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- must be insurable to operate a vehicle
- ability to safely lift and move products up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 250 pounds with hand cart
- ability to work overnight schedule including weekends, holidays, and overtime
- ability to comply with DOT and food safety regulations
- physical ability to climb, bend, twist, and maintain alertness
- ability to read and converse in English
- ability to perform job duties independently and effectively
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- one year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred
- completion of tractor trailer driving school accepted
- valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- knowledge of DOT regulations, Hazmat guidelines, and safe lifting and delivery practices
- skill in long-distance driving, customer communication, and problem solving
- ability to operate 3 axle tractor, 45-48 foot trailer, straight truck, on board computer, keypad, and hand cart
- basic math skills
- ability to read and speak English proficiently
Job Duties
- Unload product from trailer by hand or hand cart according to customer specifications and company standards
- complete all paperwork including DOT logs, inspections, invoices and maintenance reports accurately and timely
- ensure food safety protocols are met including temperature control and sanitary conditions
- develop and maintain positive customer relationships through excellent service and communication
- operate tractor trailer safely over varying terrains and weather conditions
- maintain and inspect vehicle condition and report damages, shortages or hazards promptly
- perform other duties as assigned by management
