Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent degree
- 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred
- Completion of a tractor trailer driving school accepted in lieu of or in addition to high school diploma
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Must be insurable to operate a vehicle
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 250 pounds with hand cart
- Ability to work overnight schedule including weekends, holidays, overtime and on-call
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments
- Ability to understand and comply with food safety and transportation regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent degree
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Insurable to operate a vehicle
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hazmat guidelines
- Ability to drive long distances over various terrains and weather conditions
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate 3 axle tractor and 45-48 foot trailers
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for job requirements
Job Duties
- Unload product from trailer by hand or using a hand cart according to customer specifications
- Complete all required paperwork including DOT logs, maintenance reports, and delivery invoices
- Maintain food safety protocols and vehicle sanitation
- Develop and maintain good customer relationships through excellent and courteous service
- Operate tractor trailer safely following all regulations
- Handle hazardous materials and refrigerated products appropriately
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
