Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 6 months commercial driving experience
- Valid CDL-A license
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Meet all applicable state licensing and certification requirements
- Clean driving record for past 3 years
- Pass required drug screening and background checks
- Pass driving road test
- Current or attainable DOT Health Card
- Physically able to lift up to 90 pounds and use handling equipment
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 6 months commercial driving experience
- Valid CDL-A license
- Must be 21 years or older
- Meet all state licensing requirements
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report for past 3 years
- Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
- Pass road test
- Possess or able to obtain valid DOT Health Card
- Able to lift and use equipment to move products ranging 10-90 pounds
Job Duties
- Perform pre- and post-trip safety checks including inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to DOT regulations
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Report all safety hazards and inspection findings immediately
- Perform count check of loaded items and verify customer invoices
- Attach and detach trailers at loading docks
- Drive to and deliver customer orders on schedule
- Unload products and transport to designated storage areas
- Perform damage control checks and coordinate with supervisor on removals
- Verify deliveries with customers and collect payments when required
- Load customer returns and secure trailer doors
- Unload damaged goods and returns, complete associated paperwork
- Complete daily hours of service records and DOT logs
- Maintain cleanliness and order in tractor and loading areas
- Perform other assigned duties as required
