Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 months commercial driving experience
  • Valid CDL-A license
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Meet all applicable state licensing and certification requirements
  • Clean driving record for past 3 years
  • Pass required drug screening and background checks
  • Pass driving road test
  • Current or attainable DOT Health Card
  • Physically able to lift up to 90 pounds and use handling equipment

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 6 months commercial driving experience
  • Valid CDL-A license
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Meet all state licensing requirements
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report for past 3 years
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
  • Pass road test
  • Possess or able to obtain valid DOT Health Card
  • Able to lift and use equipment to move products ranging 10-90 pounds

Job Duties

  • Perform pre- and post-trip safety checks including inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to DOT regulations
  • Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
  • Report all safety hazards and inspection findings immediately
  • Perform count check of loaded items and verify customer invoices
  • Attach and detach trailers at loading docks
  • Drive to and deliver customer orders on schedule
  • Unload products and transport to designated storage areas
  • Perform damage control checks and coordinate with supervisor on removals
  • Verify deliveries with customers and collect payments when required
  • Load customer returns and secure trailer doors
  • Unload damaged goods and returns, complete associated paperwork
  • Complete daily hours of service records and DOT logs
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in tractor and loading areas
  • Perform other assigned duties as required
