The company has established itself as a preferred workplace by fostering a culture centered on promotion from within and providing its employees with opportunities for unlimited career growth through continuous job skills enhancement and leadership development training.

As a Delivery Truck Driver for US FOODS, you will be an essential part of this dynamic organization, representing the company directly to customers. This role demands a dependable professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values excellent customer service. Delivery Truck Drivers play a critical role by ensuring timely and accurate delivery of meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies to various drop-off sites. Working primarily local routes from Monday to Friday ensures drivers are home every night, maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Starting wages begin at $24.50 per hour plus incentive pay, which reflects the company's commitment to rewarding hard work.

The role not only emphasizes solid delivery skills and an excellent work ethic but also requires physical stamina due to the manual handling of items up to 80 pounds and the ability to work in different weather conditions. Drivers must verify the delivery with customers, occasionally collecting payments such as cash or checks, and use hand trucks for unloading products efficiently. US FOODS supports its drivers with outstanding leadership, service recognition, and reward programs, along with benefits starting from day one, including medical, dental, vision care, life insurance, 401(k) options, employee stock purchase plans, and paid parental leave.

The ideal candidate is at least 21 years old, holds a valid CDL A license with necessary endorsements, and is DOT qualified. A minimum of six months of commercial truck driving or three months of foodservice delivery experience is required. The organization values integrity, reliability, and the ability to build trusting relationships with customers, and strives to create a supportive environment where employees feel valued and motivated.
