Job Description
US Foods is one of the largest foodservice distributors in the United States, renowned for its commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, and strong company culture. Headquartered in Rosemont, Illinois, US Foods serves a diverse clientele including restaurants, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, and hospitality businesses. The company emphasizes promoting from within and boasts excellent training programs that foster continuous improvement and professional growth among its associates. Operating with a focus on innovation and service reliability, US Foods plays a critical role in the foodservice supply chain, delivering a broad range of products to help customers succeed in their culinary endeavors.
This role as a US Foods Delivery Driver based in Loveland, CO, offers an outstanding opportunity to join a leading industry player with a competitive hourly wage of $39.12. This full-time position features a Sunday through Saturday schedule consisting of a four-day workweek with shift start times varying between 8:00 pm and 2:00 am. Drivers enjoy excellent local leadership support, a robust safety culture, and comprehensive benefits that include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, and more.
As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating trucks to deliver food products to customers on scheduled routes. Your duties will involve unloading products using equipment such as two-wheelers and pallet jacks, ensuring accuracy of deliveries, obtaining necessary signatures, and handling payments when required. Providing friendly and professional customer service is a key aspect of this role, representing the company positively to its valued clients. You will also perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with Department of Transportation regulations.
The physical demands of the role include the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 80 pounds of product repeatedly throughout your shift. Working conditions require adaptability to inclement weather and frequent stops as you navigate through your assigned delivery route. A valid CDL Class A license, with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications, is mandatory along with registration in the FMCSA Clearinghouse—a federal database monitoring drug and alcohol violations for commercial drivers.
US Foods values integrity, reliability, and a spirit of collaboration among its driving team. Drivers are considered essential ambassadors for the company, cultivating trust and strong relationships with customers by ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. The company also prioritizes Total Rewards, a compensation and benefits program designed to recognize employee dedication and performance.
This position not only offers a competitive wage and benefits but also opportunities to grow within a company committed to fostering a positive, inclusive, and safety-focused work environment. If you are at least 21 years old, possess the driving experience and qualifications necessary, and seek to advance your career with a respected leader in the foodservice industry, the US Foods Delivery Driver role is an excellent fit.
