The role of a Food and Food Service Delivery Driver at Performance Foodservice is vital within the food supply chain. Drivers are entrusted with ensuring that customers receive their orders accurately, safely, and on time while upholding the company’s reputation through professional interactions. This position involves operating tractor trailers or straight trucks for intrastate and interstate delivery routes that can be local, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, or overnight. Drivers must adhere strictly to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies to maintain safety and compliance.

Employees in this role can expect competitive compensation ranging from $75,000 to $100,000 annually, with uncapped earning potential. Performance Foodservice rewards its drivers with quarterly safety bonuses, unlimited referral bonuses ($2,500 per referral), and a $5,000 sign-on bonus, subject to eligibility criteria. The work schedule is generally a 4- or 5-day week with opportunities for additional days and a maximum of two nights away from home per week. Drivers also receive per diem and overnight compensation, approximately $145, along with access to new equipment.
