With a dedicated team comprising sales representatives, chefs, consultants, and industry experts, Performance Foodservice cultivates close partnerships with its clients. Beyond simply transporting goods, delivery drivers are responsible for unloading products, verifying deliveries, collecting payments when applicable, and maintaining detailed and accurate delivery records. The role demands strong attention to safety, excellent communication skills to interface with customers and coworkers professionally, and the ability to manage physical tasks such as lifting and maneuvering freight of varying weights. Drivers also participate in general housekeeping duties within the truck and loading areas, ensuring the maintenance of a clean and safe working environment.
