- one to three years commercial driving experience
- ability to physically complete job requirements
- knowledge of transportation principles and methods
- ability to operate commercial vehicles, hand trucks, pallet jacks, walk boards, and stay bars
Job Qualifications

- one to three years commercial driving experience
- grocery distributing experience a plus
- ability to drive commercial vehicles such as semi-trucks and trailers up to 53 feet, solo trucks, and vans
- knowledge of transportation principles and methods
- ability to operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, walk boards, and stay bars
- acceptable motor vehicle record
- ability to perform physical requirements of the job
- ability to work well with other employees to foster a respectful and professional work environment
Job Duties
- transport grocery items to customers by using time efficiently and ensuring accurate accounting for items delivered or picked up
- maintain safe operation of company vehicles on all public and private roadways and property
- deliver products by hand truck using a lift gate or walk board and handle customer needs such as returns and proper handling of cash, checks or other items
- conduct themselves with professionalism as Class A CDL drivers using safe and defensive driving techniques and abide by all applicable DOT regulations
- perform other duties as assigned by manager
