McLane is currently seeking dedicated CDL-A Delivery Truck Drivers to join their team, a role essential to moving, supplying, and providing for America’s favorite brands. Drivers at McLane are recognized for their reliability and strong dedication to safety, which is a cornerstone of the company’s ongoing success. This position offers competitive pay, with drivers earning between $88,000 to $97,000, and top drivers making over $100,000 annually. Compensation is structured around hourly wages, miles driven, stops made, and cases handled. Drivers can expect local and regional routes, featuring early evening dispatches followed by overnight deliveries. Moreover, a substantial referral bonus of $3,000 is available.

In this capacity, CDL-A Delivery Truck Drivers will be responsible for inspecting tractor-trailers before and after trips, accurately submitting Department of Transportation (DOT) inspection reports, ensuring the correctness of bills of lading and store keys during off-hour deliveries, maneuvering the tractor-trailer skillfully on public roads and customer premises, and maintaining thorough driver logs in compliance with DOT regulations. Drivers will also unload trailers and deliver products directly to customer premises, ensuring safe and timely deliveries. The position is ideal for drivers with at least one year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience, a valid Class A commercial driver's license, and exceptional attention to safety and communication standards. Strong English proficiency is essential to effectively understand job instructions, adhere to safety protocols, and communicate clearly.

- At least 21 years of age
- Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL-A)
- At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
- Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely

Job Duties
- Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition
- Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery
- Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises
- Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions
- Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises
- Other duties as assigned
