Job Requirements
- at least 21 years of age
- clean driving record as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards
- successfully pass a drug test including marijuana and a background check
- registered with the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent
- ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads up to 350 pounds
- ability to lift up to 100 pounds throughout the shift
- veterans encouraged to apply
Job Qualifications
- valid Class A CDL license
- ability to lift up to 100 pounds
- experience operating delivery vehicles preferred but not required
- good communication skills
- clean driving record
- ability to operate a two-wheel cart
- high school diploma or equivalent
Job Duties
- build relationships with customers while delivering food products
- unload cases weighing up to 100 pounds
- operate a two-wheel cart with loads up to 350 pounds
- use ramps to assist with loading and unloading
- follow safety protocols during deliveries
- manage local delivery routes on a day shift
- ensure timely and accurate deliveries
