Seward Motor Freight Inc. is a reputable trucking company with a rich history dating back to the early 1940s. Founded by Willard and Wanda Miers, the company initially operated as a less than truck load (LTL) service between Omaha and Seward, Nebraska. Job Requirements
- 2 plus years of CDL A driving experience
- Valid CDL-A license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Willingness to travel within designated geographic limits
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Availability for OTR routes
Job Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A license
- Minimum 2 years of CDL-A driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Ability to operate modern trucks including International LT and Volvo VNL models
- Knowledge of DOT regulations
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to safety and reliability
Job Duties
- Drive assigned routes safely and efficiently
- Perform vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies
- Maintain accurate records of goods hauled and hours of service
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management
- Load and unload freight as required
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
