Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
  • Must have sufficient mobility to perform physical tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods
  • Must be able to read, speak, and write English
  • Knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, and guest relations
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and maintain professionalism
  • Strong organizational and decision-making skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Some college education preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to make quick and accurate decisions
  • Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining professionalism
  • Effective interpersonal skills for collaboration and compliance with service standards
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette
  • Knowledge of appropriate table settings, serviceware, and menu items
  • Proficient in reading, speaking, and writing English to communicate with guests
  • Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
  • Sufficient mobility for prolonged reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling
  • At least 18 years of age

Job Duties

  • Oversee set-up and clean-up for all banquet functions to provide excellent guest service
  • Responsible for inventory management of equipment, small wares, disposables, and beverages
  • Supervise housemen and stewarding team during event set-up and break-down
  • Coordinate movement of beverages and equipment for all events
  • Supervise food and beverage service and event room set-up and clean-up
  • Assist with planning, organizing, and executing all functions
  • Greet clients and respond to their requests
  • Lead roll call meetings before events to communicate event details and expectations
  • Oversee general cleaning tasks to maintain health standards
  • Check for last-minute changes with Facilities, Catering and Culinary teams
  • Complete other duties assigned by Catering Management
