Job Requirements
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
- Proven experience as a sous chef or in a similar catering role
- Strong knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a sous chef or similar role in a catering environment
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred

Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef in planning and executing menus for catering events
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards
- Manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management
- Monitor food inventory, order supplies, and manage food costs to meet budgetary goals
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including food handling, storage, and sanitation practices
- Collaborate with the events team to ensure seamless service and client satisfaction
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen workspace
- Assist in developing new recipes and menu items based on current trends and customer feedback
- Work off site events as event chef for grilling, carving, etc
