The Catering Services Manager role at Aramark is a pivotal leadership position that is responsible for managing all aspects of catering solutions and special events at a designated location. This role requires a keen ability to lead a catering team to deliver events and catering requests in line with customer expectations and established service standards. The manager will be charged with developing and executing catering solutions tailored to meet clients’ needs while ensuring consistent quality in event planning and implementation. Serving as a liaison between clients and the catering team, the manager is tasked with building and maintaining strong client relationships.

In addition to the strategic oversight, the Catering Services Manager facilitates the delivery and setup of food and events based on banquet event orders, ensuring that the final presentation meets high standards of quality and client satisfaction. The role also involves training and leading catering employees to adhere to catering and event standards, managing quality assurance, and guaranteeing that all event requests are fulfilled accurately.

This position bears full responsibility for delivering both food and labor targets efficiently while managing the execution of catering events of various sizes and complexities, including staffing and operational management. Moreover, accurate financial reporting is essential, encompassing all catering revenue, expenses, and receivables. The Catering Services Manager is also deeply involved in recruitment, training, scheduling, and professional development of team members to maintain a high-performance catering staff.

Compliance with food safety, occupational safety, and environmental safety policies is critical in this role, ensuring the well-being of team members and clients alike. Since staffing and event schedules can vary, the manager must be available to work event-based hours and adapt readily to the evolving demands of the job. Job Requirements

  • Requires at least 2 years of experience
  • Prior experience in a management or supervisory role preferred
  • Previous experience in events, hospitality and catering preferred
  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Available to work event-based hours
  • Must have excellent communications skills
  • Complete Food Handlers and Alcohol Service Certifications as required
  • Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lb
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Develop and complete catering solutions to meet customers' needs
  • Develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport
  • Deliver consistent quality in planning and carrying out events
  • Facilitate the delivery of prepared food and set up of events crafted from banquet event orders
  • Assist clients in planning special events and providing creative solutions to clients' needs
  • Train and lead catering employees to ensure catering and event standards are followed ensuring quality in final presentation
  • Provide completed Banquet Event Orders to team and provide quality assurance all requests are met prior to event
