The role of Catering Services Manager at Aramark is a dynamic leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of catering solutions and special events at the assigned location. This pivotal role involves managing the Catering team to ensure seamless execution of events and catering deliveries that consistently meet customer expectations and uphold rigorous service standards. The Catering Services Manager works closely with clients to innovate and deliver catering solutions tailored to their specific needs, ensuring excellent rapport and satisfaction.

This position demands a blend of operational expertise, client service skills, and team leadership. The Catering Services Manager will develop and complete catering plans, facilitate smooth event delivery, and maintain high standards in food presentation and event planning. The manager will assist clients with special event planning, offering creative and effective solutions that enhance the overall experience. Additionally, this role is responsible for training and leading catering staff, ensuring compliance with all food safety, occupational, and environmental policies.

Operationally, the Catering Services Manager oversees banquet event orders, manages staff scheduling, and drives the achievement of food and labor cost targets. Financial oversight includes accurate reporting of catering-related revenue, expenses, and receivables. The role requires the ability to manage events of various sizes and scopes, ensuring correct staffing and superior execution from start to finish.

Given the nature of events and catering, the position requires flexibility for event-based hours, strong communication skills, and the physical stamina to occasionally lift weights up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. This position is ideal for a candidate with at least two years of experience in hospitality, food service, or event management, preferably with prior supervisory or management experience. Holding a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is also required, alongside necessary certifications such as Food Handlers and Alcohol Service.
