Key responsibilities of the Catering Director include cultivating and maintaining strong client and customer relationships to generate mutually beneficial business opportunities and employing a communication strategy designed by the marketing team to build catering revenue. The director is also charged with delivering financial performance by meeting food and labor cost targets and developing strategies to achieve catering revenue forecasts. Operational productivity is another focal area, where the director oversees the execution of catering events regardless of size or complexity, managing staffing and coordination with other departments to ensure successful event delivery. Additionally, the director ensures compliance with all applicable safety, health, and wage and hour regulations, along with adherence to Harvest Table's rigorous food, occupational, and environmental safety policies.
This position requires an experienced professional with a minimum of four years in the industry and at least one to three years in a management role.
