The role of Catering Server at Westminster-Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay is essential in delivering exceptional food and beverage service for a variety of catered events including banquets, receptions, meetings, and special functions. Reporting directly to the Catering and Special Events Manager, this position is classified as non-exempt and operates on a PRN (as needed) schedule that flexibly supports campus events. The Catering Server is responsible for the meticulous setup, service, and breakdown of event settings, including formal table arrangements, buffet lines, food stations, and beverage service areas, adhering strictly to health, safety, and service standards.
