The Catering Server role at Rich Entertainment Group is a pivotal position focused on delivering outstanding customer service during off-site events. This role requires an enthusiastic, service-oriented individual who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys engaging with guests positively and professionally. The Catering Server is responsible for the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring tables are arranged with proper linen, china, silverware, and glassware, and maintaining cleanliness throughout events. Knowledge of menu items, wine selections, and food handling practices is essential, allowing the server to assist guests knowledgeably and provide an elevated dining experience.
Key responsibilities include carrying heavy trays, attentive and courteous service to guests, assisting bartenders when necessary, and performing side work efficiently at the start and end of shifts. The position demands physical stamina, including the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Experience in customer service and food serving is highly valued, and bartending experience is preferred. The shift schedule includes nights and weekends, accommodating the needs of various event timetables.

Job Duties
- Provide excellent service to all guests
- knowledge of the menu and the structure of the plate
- knowledge of wines and the wine list
- setup of tables, chairs, linen, china, silverware and glassware
- clean and polish silverware/glassware
- clear and clean all tables, work areas, dining room or other areas utilized according to proper procedures
- return all equipment to proper location
- carry heavy trays of food from the kitchen to the dining area
- perform all necessary side work as directed at the beginning and end of shift
- assist bartender when need arises
- maintain exemplary food handling and safety and operation practices
