We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Catering Sales Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in the continued growth and success of Marriott Louisville. This position offers an hourly wage starting at $23.00 and is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality and sales with a desire to excel in event management and client relationships. The Catering Sales Manager will be responsible for executing the hotel’s catering sales strategy, managing all aspects of catering events, and fostering strong relationships with clients from corporate, social, and association groups. This role requires a proactive approach to prospecting new business and delivering customized catering solutions that exceed client expectations.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hospitality sales or event management preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Willingness to actively seek new business opportunities
- Reliable and punctual work ethic

Job Duties
- Execute the hotel’s catering sales strategy
- Plan, coordinate, and service all catering events on the property
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients including corporate, social, and association groups
- Develop catering proposals, contracts, and event orders
- Respond to client and guest questions
- Ensure all event specifications are met including food and beverage, decor, audio visual, and staffing
- Actively prospect new catering business and generate revenue
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned
