Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, marketing, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in catering sales, event planning, or related field preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment
- Proven sales track record with ability to negotiate and close deals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously
- Effective collaboration skills to work with banquet, kitchen, and operations teams
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Onq, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Actively solicit new business through prospecting, sales calls, site tours, and networking
- Manage existing accounts to ensure repeat business and build long-term relationships with clients
- Work closely with clients to understand their event needs and customize proposals for corporate events, weddings, banquets, and social gatherings
- Coordinate event logistics including menu selections, room setup, AV requirements, and timelines
- Develop and implement strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets for catering and events
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales and event planning process, serving as the main point of contact for clients
- Liaise with banquet, kitchen, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of events
- Prepare accurate proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders to capture client specifications
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and local market conditions
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, revenue reports, and customer interactions using CRM tools
