We are currently seeking an energetic and results-driven Catering Sales Manager to join our dedicated team. This pivotal role focuses on driving catering and banquet revenue by leveraging proactive sales strategies, nurturing exceptional client relationships, and ensuring flawless event execution. The Catering Sales Manager will play an essential part in expanding our catering business portfolio and enhancing client satisfaction across all events held within the property. The ideal candidate is a hospitality professional passionate about creating memorable experiences, building long-lasting partnerships, and consistently achieving or exceeding revenue goals. This position involves working closely with various operational teams, including culinary and banquet services, to coordinate every detail of meetings, social events, weddings, and group functions from initial inquiry through post-event follow-up. Emphasizing strong organizational abilities and excellent communication skills, the Catering Sales Manager will also participate in networking events and community outreach to promote the hotel’s extensive facilities and offerings. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-5 years of catering or hotel sales experience
  • Experience in a full-service hotel or event venue
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in sales software or CRM systems
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of catering sales or hotel sales experience preferred
  • Experience working in a full-service hotel or conference/event venue
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Proven ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously
  • Experience with hotel sales systems such as Delphi, CI/TY, or similar platforms is preferred
  • Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences

Job Duties

  • Proactively solicit and secure catering business including corporate meetings, social events, weddings, and group functions
  • Manage the full sales cycle from inquiry to event execution and post-event follow-up
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders (BEOs)
  • Conduct site tours and client meetings to showcase the hotels meeting and event spaces
  • Partner with the culinary, banquet, and operations teams to ensure successful event execution
  • Maintain strong relationships with new and repeat clients to generate ongoing business
  • Achieve and exceed catering revenue goals
  • Participate in networking events and community outreach to promote the hotel
  • Accurately forecast revenue and maintain sales activity in the CRM system
