Upselling enhancements such as menus, bar packages, and event space utilization will be key to achieving monthly and annual catering revenue goals. Forecasting and pipeline management using the hotel's sales system are critical to maintaining business growth and efficient sales operations.
On the event planning and execution front, you will serve as the primary contact for your clients, creating and managing detailed Banquet Event Orders and coordinating site visits, client meetings, tastings, and pre-event conferences. Collaboration with Banquets, Culinary, Operations, and Sales Leadership teams is essential to ensure cohesive event delivery and customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will oversee accurate billing processes, deposits, and final invoicing, and may attend events onsite to guarantee successful execution.
The Catering Sales Manager works closely with the Director of Catering and other sales team members to support overall hotel goals, maintain brand standards, and manage multiple concurrent events with strong attention to detail. The role demands excellent communication and organizational skills as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Overall, this role at Marriott Dallas Las Colinas offers a unique blend of sales, service, and event management responsibilities within a supportive and collaborative environment.
