Job Duties

  • Prospecting for new business including internet prospecting, cold calling, and contacting former clients
  • building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • responding promptly to incoming group and catering business opportunities
  • conducting hotel site inspections and client presentations both in person and virtually
  • creating contracts and related booking documentation, managing and maintaining client account files
  • detailing event requirements including food and beverage, setup, and audio visual needs
  • creating group resumes and communicating client needs to all hotel departments
  • ensuring hotel staff follows through on all client requests
  • using negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close business and negotiate contracts
