Job Requirements

  • 2-3 years of culinary leadership experience
  • strong skills in kitchen operations and team leadership
  • food handling certificate
  • ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • experience with large-scale prep and production processes
  • proficiency with kitchen technology and POS systems
  • ability to stand for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of culinary leadership experience, preferably in high-volume production or catering environments
  • strong skills in kitchen operations, team leadership, and inventory management
  • food handling certificate
  • experience with large-scale prep and production processes
  • proficiency with kitchen technology, POS systems, and production tracking tools
  • ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • positive attitude and a collaborative, team-focused work ethic

Job Duties

  • Lead, train, and manage commissary kitchen staff to ensure efficient, high-volume production
  • oversee preparation, storage, and distribution of food items for Elephante, Belles Beach House, and Kassi Venice Beach
  • maintain rigorous standards of food quality, safety, and sanitation
  • collaborate on menu development and execute large-scale prep for catering events and restaurant service
  • manage inventory, ordering, and purchasing for the commissary kitchen
  • ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards
  • coordinate logistics for deliveries to multiple restaurant locations
  • maintain and troubleshoot kitchen equipment as needed
  • work collaboratively with restaurant chefs and operations teams to support seamless service across venues
