The Catering Driver/Guest Services Representative role at Boudin Bakeries is a crucial position responsible for ensuring that all catered deliveries are made accurately, on time, and in a hospitable manner. This position goes beyond just driving – the Catering Driver is a brand ambassador who helps create a positive and memorable customer experience. The role involves providing prompt service and delivering quality products, all while maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. The role also supports the company’s operational standards and helps uphold the company’s strong reputation for customer service excellence.
A key part of the role is to manage deliveries efficiently, ensuring that customers receive their orders correctly and punctually. The company provides all necessary tools for success, including a vehicle, insurance coverage, and fuel to facilitate these deliveries, eliminating many common logistical concerns for drivers. While prior driving experience is not mandatory, a valid driver’s license and adherence to the company’s driver standards are required.
The Catering Driver is also expected to possess a strong commitment to excellent customer service and food quality. They must demonstrate a knack for providing interactive and friendly service that reflects the brand's values. Previous experience in a restaurant or bakery environment is welcomed, but entry-level candidates who are enthusiastic about working in a supportive and engaging team environment are encouraged to apply.
