Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of progressive pastry or baking experience
  • experience in catering, hotel, or fine dining environments preferred
  • leadership capabilities
  • strong organizational and communication skills
  • ability to work hands-on and collaboratively
  • flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • willingness to support off-site events and peak business periods

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years of progressive pastry or baking experience (catering, hotel, or fine dining preferred)
  • leadership skills with ability to train and motivate staff
  • strong organizational and communication skills
  • hands-on, collaborative approach to kitchen management
  • working knowledge of Spanish preferred
  • flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • oversee daily pastry production and quality control
  • scale, prepare, and produce recipes to exact standards
  • train, mentor, and supervise pastry staff
  • develop new recipes and contribute to seasonal menus
  • manage inventory, purchasing needs, and scheduling
  • ensure sanitation, safety, and compliance standards
  • support off-site catering events and peak business periods
