Our community is deeply committed to enriching the lives of our residents and creating a supportive and nurturing environment. Guided by our mission "To honor God by enriching the lives and touching the hearts of those we serve," we strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors by offering luxurious living options, personalized care, and a vibrant lifestyle. Located in a serene setting, our facilities blend comfort and elegance to provide an ideal home where residents can enjoy exceptional amenities, engaging activities, and compassionate healthcare services.

We are currently seeking a full-time Catering Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in managing the catering and event operations within our community, ensuring that every event is delivered with precision, professionalism, and attention to detail. As Catering Manager, you will serve as the primary liaison between clients and the culinary team, customizing menus and coordinating all aspects of event execution. You will manage and lead catering and wait staff to uphold the highest standards of service, all while adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations such as ServSafe and HACCP requirements.

The ideal candidate will bring at least 4-5 years of hands-on experience in catering, event planning, or food and beverage management, demonstrating excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. You will be responsible for overseeing client consultations to understand event objectives, designing tailored menu options with the culinary team, and ensuring smooth event logistics including setup and staff scheduling. Financial oversight is also key, as you will monitor food and labor costs and handle administrative records to maximize profitability. Additionally, you will stay updated with the latest catering trends to continually enhance the guest experience.

This position demands physical stamina, including the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and endure prolonged standing or walking during event operations. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as event schedules require is essential. By joining River Landing at Sandy Ridge, you will be part of a supportive, faith-based work culture with numerous employee benefits, such as competitive pay, paid time off, health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as retirement plans. We offer robust training and career development opportunities through PHI University and Leadership Academy.

If you are passionate about hospitality and committed to making a positive impact through exceptional event experiences, apply today to become part of our meaningful mission and dedicated community.
