Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum three years of management experience
  • minimum three years of functional experience in catering, food production, or food service management
  • ability to maintain staff payroll and scheduling using Kronos
  • attention to detail for reviewing orders and catering sheets
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • capacity to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • three years of management experience
  • three years of experience in catering, food production, food service management, or related field
  • strong communication skills to facilitate collaboration between sales, culinary, and front-of-house teams
  • ability to review catering event orders and sheets for accuracy
  • problem-solving skills to handle client queries effectively while adhering to catering policies

Job Duties

  • Oversee Sodexo resources, recipes, systems, and catering programs to direct daily catering events, including food production, inventory, product deliveries, invoices, and procurement operations
  • oversee the sales process for catering and/or conference services, collaborating with clients and customers to design events
  • ensure employees have appropriate equipment, supplies, and resources to perform their jobs and meet goals, cost controls, and deadlines
  • establish and maintain a safe work environment compliant with food and physical safety regulations and Sodexo standards, driving the Zero Harm mindset
  • comply with budget requirements by controlling costs like labor, inventory, equipment, and materials, making necessary adjustments
  • supervise employees by delegating, assigning, and prioritizing activities, and monitoring operating standards
