Job Description

Currently, Sodexo is seeking a dynamic and experienced Catering Manager 4 for their expanding facility at Erlanger East in Chattanooga, TN. This position plays a crucial role in managing the daily food production operations of this state-of-the-art hospital, which boasts a $50 million expansion with innovative architecture and advanced medical services. The new Erlanger East hospital is renowned for its focus on women’s health but is also elevating care in pulmonary, surgical, stroke, heart, cancer, and critical care areas. As Catering Manager 4, you will lead a culinary team driving the execution of Sodexo’s culinary standards, ensuring quality, consistency, and innovation in food service within a high-volume hospital environment.

The role involves overseeing production planning, controlling food costing and compliance, developing menus, and managing inventory to meet the highest standards of food quality and customer service. A passion for culinary innovation and knowledge of special diets and allergens is essential, alongside the ability to train and develop front-line employees effectively. Experience with Sodexo’s Food Management System (FMS) is preferred. This position offers a fair and equitable salary based on an individual’s education, experience, and skills. Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • three years of management experience
  • three years of experience in catering, food production or food service management
  • excellent leadership and communication skills
