Job Requirements
- Education: bachelor's degree required
- Minimum five years total professional experience
- Experience in convention/trade show industry or event/meeting planning with emphasis on logistics and exhibits management
- Ability to speak, read, write and understand the English language
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook
- Ability to perform accurate mathematical calculations
- Excellent communication skills with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks
- Ability to think clearly, remain calm and use good judgment to resolve problems
- Ability to follow directions thoroughly
- Understanding of guests' service needs
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team with minimal supervision
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and resort data
- Typing skills of at least 50 words per minute
- Capability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing environment
- Strong multitasking abilities
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks conforming to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum five years total professional experience in the convention/trade show industry or event/meeting planning with emphasis on logistics and exhibits management
- Demonstrated experience in client services, operations, event planning and execution
- Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to conduct research into project-related issues
- High degree of responsibility, initiative and professionalism
- Proficiency in software applications including MS Word, Excel, Outlook
- Delphi proficiency preferred
Job Duties
- Assist and contribute in the coordination of all aspects of conferences, meetings and events including pre-planning, onsite execution and post event wrap up
- Coordinate travel, lodging, and expenses for participants traveling to meetings or other business travel
- Assist in financial management including budget creation, monitoring revenue and expense performance, and collection of registration and/or exhibit fees
- Track hours performed versus hours budgeted and advise of discrepancies
- Adapt to crisis situations, changing procedures, methods or processes
- Develop and maintain solid relationships with exhibitors and sponsors
- Contribute effective ideas to client strategic planning and analysis processes
- Assume planning responsibilities for multiple clients and meetings
- Contribute to overall team success by identifying problems and proactively seeking out methods to improve self-performance and/or efficiency of an operation or task
- Travel domestically, and work overtime as needed to attend events
