Job Requirements

  • associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 2 years management experience
  • minimum 1 year work experience in food or culinary services
  • solid organizational skills
  • excellent leadership and team building skills
  • ability to handle catering at all levels from students to executives
  • professional demeanor
  • demonstrated history of event and catering management of VIP levels and high volume

Job Qualifications

  • associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum of 2 years management experience
  • minimum of 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, or mall food courts

  • ability to handle catering at all levels from students to executives

  • demonstrated history of event and catering management at VIP levels and high volume

Job Duties

  • manage day-to-day booking of all events
  • coordinate with sales team to respond promptly to customers
  • communicate event updates and changes to the team
  • manage catering event meetings for all departments
  • lead team with bookings, details, timelines, and flight plans for large internal and external events
  • assist with budgeting and financial forecasting of events including upselling
  • assist with execution of marketing plan to increase catering revenue
  • oversee setup and presentation to maintain high service and quality standards
  • train, develop, and mentor catering staff
  • ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
