Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of culinary or catering experience
  • Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in a related culinary or catering role
  • 2-3 years of post-high school education or equivalent practical experience
  • Culinary degree preferred but not required
  • Strong understanding of food service principles
  • Proven leadership ability in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Duties

  • Lead, train, and manage kitchen staff
  • Oversee all culinary activities and daily kitchen functions
  • Assess food requirements and procure necessary food items
  • Develop and refine recipes
  • Standardize production methods and establish quality benchmarks
  • Maintain and service kitchen equipment
  • Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
  • Coordinate special catering events
  • Provide culinary instruction and demonstrations
  • Mentor junior kitchen staff
