Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of culinary or catering experience
- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in a related culinary or catering role
- 2-3 years of post-high school education or equivalent practical experience
- Culinary degree preferred but not required
- Strong understanding of food service principles
- Proven leadership ability in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Excellent communication skills
Job Duties
- Lead, train, and manage kitchen staff
- Oversee all culinary activities and daily kitchen functions
- Assess food requirements and procure necessary food items
- Develop and refine recipes
- Standardize production methods and establish quality benchmarks
- Maintain and service kitchen equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
- Coordinate special catering events
- Provide culinary instruction and demonstrations
- Mentor junior kitchen staff
