- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Monkey MSI and ezCater catering platforms
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends
- Skilled in customer relationship management
- Capability to negotiate and close complex contracts
- Effective time management and self-motivation
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Competency in communication and presentation
Job Duties
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive catering revenue
- Monitor sales trends and identify opportunities for new business development
- Work with the Area Manager to establish sales targets and goals
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement
- Assist in negotiations of large or complex catering contracts
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and book of business
- Oversee catering system operations for your territory including Monkeymedia Software and ezCater
- Monitor store loads
- Oversee off-premise event catering in your territory
- Assign catering lead drivers within your territory and set expectations for deliveries
- Generate new qualified leads
- Maintain direct communication with the Call Center and Catering Coordinators
- Assist with order and quote entry
- Mark new clients with appropriate revenue source
- Follow-up with key clients post order to receive feedback
- Send thank you notes and gift cards for large orders
- Leverage networking opportunities for new business
- Build relationships within store areas to serve as point of contact for larger events
- Share and celebrate team results
- Praise operators, GM's and teams when appropriate
- Use Slack and email for professional communication
- Quantify your value through demonstrated expertise
- Perform sales calls including cold calling to set up test orders or meetings
- Maintain professional and accurate email communication
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer information
- Monitor and manage catering sales budgets
