The Catering Coordinator position at SodexoMagic, specifically located at Wayne State University, is a full-time role designed for proactive individuals who are detail-oriented and process-focused. This role offers a competitive pay range of $22 to $28 per hour and involves working primarily on weekdays during morning, afternoon, and evening shifts. As a Catering Coordinator, you will serve as a pivotal point of contact responsible for coordinating events such as catered functions, reservations, and other hospitality services. Your role will be critical in ensuring seamless event execution through meticulous planning and communication. You will perform various administrative tasks including arranging meetings, developing agendas, preparing progress reports, and managing onsite logistics including setup and knockdown activities. Additionally, you may be involved in coordinating staffing needs, maintaining project plans and budgets, and resolving any onsite issues that arise to ensure client satisfaction.
