This role is a part-time, onsite position located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, within the Dining & Events segment. The Catering Coordinator position at Science Museum Oklahoma, staffed by Lancer Hospitality professionals, is pivotal in orchestrating flawless catering event execution. This role demands an individual who exhibits excellent organizational abilities, customer service acumen, and multitasking skills in a lively work environment. The Catering Coordinator will work closely with clients to customize orders, align event details with client expectations, and serve as the main contact to resolve inquiries. Responsibilities extend to communicating with culinary teams and vendors to schedule deliveries and pick-ups and ensure accurate preparation, timely delivery, and superior presentation of catered food. Additionally, the coordinator manages event logistics, including setup and teardown operations, maintaining a master calendar of events to ensure deadlines are met, and handling inventories of supplies and equipment. On-site event support is also a critical aspect of the role, requiring readiness to address last-minute issues efficiently to guarantee event success and customer satisfaction.
