Job Duties
- Coordinate in-store catering process to help deliver accurate and on-time catering to guests with a genuine smile
- ensure sanitation standards are met in kitchen and prep areas
- maintain inventory records and enforce first in, first out procedures ensuring timely use of foods
- learn all about different products and their presentation to enhance customer experience and assist with upselling
- initiate contact with customers to explain ordering process and provide catering menus and information
- assist with local store marketing to drive sales and grow catering business
- prepare, package, process, deliver, and set up all catering orders
- serve as the in-store catering guest liaison for in-person and phone orders
- work at various stations including dough, pizza cook, salad bar, buffet captain, cashier, and server
- share knowledge about ingredients and menu items
- treat each guest like family with outstanding, friendly service
- follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- keep catering area and restaurant organized, stocked, clean, and sanitized
- communicate with team members and guests to maintain workflow
- keep detailed records of catering including company name, contact info, and event type
- follow up with customers post-event for feedback on food quality, presentation, service, and professionalism
