We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Catering Chef to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis. This role is perfect for a culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys the challenge of working in both kitchen production and event execution. The Catering Chef will be a crucial part of our operational success, working under the direction of the Executive Chef to ensure the highest standards of food preparation and presentation are met. Responsibilities will include assisting with food production at our commissary as well as participating in off-site event setup, service, and breakdown. This position primarily requires availability during nights and weekends, making it ideal for individuals looking to supplement their culinary career or seeking flexible work hours.

The ideal candidate will bring at least three years of relevant culinary experience, with a preference for those who have management experience and formal education in culinary arts or food service management. Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential. Physical stamina is also important, as the role involves the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items regularly. We prioritize food safety and hygiene, so holding a current ServSafe certification and a clean driving record is mandatory.

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

  • Strong work ethic with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

  • Must be able to stand for 8 or more hours
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
