Job Requirements

  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Proven experience as a catering chef or similar role in the hospitality industry
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as required

Job Duties

  • Develop and design customized menus tailored to client preferences and event themes
  • Oversee the preparation and cooking of all dishes ensuring they meet high standards of quality and presentation
  • Collaborate with event planners and clients to ensure seamless execution of catering services
  • Lead and manage kitchen staff providing guidance and training to maintain a high level of performance
  • Monitor inventory levels order supplies and manage food costs to ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
