Job Description
Our company is a dynamic and renowned full-service catering and event planning establishment known for orchestrating unforgettable experiences across a broad spectrum of events. From intimate executive dinners to large-scale galas, we pride ourselves on collaborating with some of the best venues, clients, and vendors in the state to ensure every event is executed with precision and creativity. Our specialty lies in themed food displays, unique design elements, custom menus, and other personalized touches that bring our clients' visions to life with flair and professionalism. We believe that every event is not just a function but a memorable occasion, and we strive to deliver nothing short of excellence with every engagement.
We are currently seeking energetic and organized Catering Captains with a genuine passion for food and events. This is a full-time position based in Lakewood, CO, offering an attractive wage of $25.00 per hour plus gratuity. Our catering captains serve as the pivotal point of contact for clients, managing all aspects of event coordination and execution. From venue walkthroughs and vendor coordination to preliminary logistics and onsite staff management, this role demands versatility and strong leadership skills. Captains will often have to drive large vans and box trucks, showcasing the need for excellent driving abilities and a clean motor vehicle record.
Each day and event presents unique challenges and opportunities, ranging from small, intimate dinners to high-energy, large attendance galas and award shows. If you thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment, this role is an ideal fit. We value individuals who bring creativity to table settings, color scheme design, and overall event aesthetics, ensuring the client’s vision is brought to life in every detail.
Candidates must have excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong sense of design. Flexible availability from Monday to Friday is required, with weekend shifts also necessary. Working hours may include 8 or 10-hour shifts, both day and night, providing a variety of scheduling experiences. The work environment is collaborative, fun, and highly rewarding, offering the chance to work in some of the finest dining and bar venues in the area.
Our benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance to support your wellbeing, paid time off and paid sick leave to ensure work-life balance, a 401(k) plan with employer matching contributions for your future security, and staff lunches as a daily perk. This role also requires a background check and motor vehicle check to maintain our high standards of safety and professionalism. If you are passionate about hospitality, thrive on logistics, and aim to exceed client expectations, we encourage you to apply and join our vibrant team committed to excellence in every event.
