Job Requirements

  • Must have an A.S. degree or equivalent culinary experience
  • Must possess some progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • Must be willing to participate in client satisfaction programs and activities
  • Must be proficient with computers including Microsoft Office applications
  • ServSafe certification highly desirable
  • Ability to work in a high volume, complex food service environment
  • Must be capable of supervising hourly associates
  • Commitment to upholding food safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • A.S. degree or equivalent experience
  • Progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • Catering experience preferred
  • Experience in high volume, complex foodservice operations
  • Knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office suite
  • ServSafe certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Assist the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and expenditures for the account
  • Assist the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
  • Produce and execute catering events
  • Roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with company marketing and culinary team
  • Supervise hourly associates and kitchen staff
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and food safety standards
  • Participate in client satisfaction programs and activities
