The Catering Coordinator position within the Food & Beverage Department reports to the Food & Beverage Manager and is located at Sames Auto Arena. This role supports catering operations by performing a variety of tasks related to event preparation, setup, service, and cleanup. Key responsibilities include maintaining and organizing catering equipment, ensuring proper signage display, setting up tables with chairs and necessary tableware, maintaining cleanliness, serving events professionally, and breaking down catering areas after events. The role demands a high degree of energy, enthusiasm, and customer service excellence to ensure an exceptional experience for all guests. This full-time supporting position requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary, reflecting the dynamic nature of live event catering. Job Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED

  • ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal business hours

  • strong customer service skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Assists in maintaining, organizing, and cleaning all catering equipment
  • ensures all signage is properly displayed for each event
  • set up tables, top chairs and tables for catered events as assigned by the Catering Supervisor or Manager in a timely and efficient manner
  • set all glassware, silverware, dinnerware, and additional set-up necessities in a timely manner
  • ensure that all catered areas have been left in a sanitary and organized manner
  • serve all functions in a professional, courteous, efficient manner
  • break down all catering areas after event
